The LORD Supplies You To Help Supply You And Others!

(Editor's note: The Hebrew notion of Salvation (Deliverance) included much more than forgiveness and eternal life. Salvation meant freedom from debt, worry, fear and sickness.  Power over enemies, total victory and possession of a land was integral  to the concept.  Today many believers have been put off by hyper-prosperity teaching.  This teaching may have been responsible for many believers retreating entirely from the True Gospel, which portrays CREATOR as SUPPLIER

"Afterward JESUS appeared again to HIS disciples, by the Sea of Tiberias.   It happened this way Simon Peter, Thomas (called Didymus), Nathanael from Cana in Galilee, the sons of Zebedee, and two other disciples were together.  "I'm going out to fish," Simon Peter told them, and they said, "We'll go with you."  So they went out and got into the boat, but that night they caught nothing.  Early in the morning, JESUS stood on the shore, but the disciples did not realize that it was JESUS.   HE called out to them, "Friends, haven't you any fish?" "No," they answered. HE said, "Throw your net on the right side of the boat and you will find some."  When they did, they were unable to haul the net in because of the large number of fish.  Then the disciple whom JESUS loved said to Peter, "It is the LORD!"  As soon as Simon Peter heard him say, "It is the LORD," he wrapped his outer garment around him (for he had taken it off) and jumped into the water.  The other disciples followed in the boat, towing the net full of fish, for they were not far from shore, about a hundred yards.  When they landed, they saw a fire of burning coals there with fish on it, and some bread.  JESUS said to them, "Bring some of the fish you have just caught."  Simon Peter climbed aboard and dragged the net ashore. It was full of large fish, 153, but even with so many the net was not torn.  JESUS said to them, "Come and have breakfast." None of the disciples dared ask him, "Who are you?" They knew it was the LORD.  JESUS came, took the bread and gave it to them, and did the same with the fish."  John 21:1-1

It's time to shatter the myth that money in any amount must lead a person away from JESUS. This is the standard popular opinion, and it is a demonically driven opinion, a lie, and from the father of lies.

This lie is so entrenched in to our being in the family of CREATOR that it has a tendency to be self-fulfilling.  The love of money is a root of evils.  It takes money to buy food, and other essentials.  Much of what we do to build the kingdom takes money.  Money buys illegal drugs.  It also buys life-saving medicine.  It is the use of money that determines the good.

Now to our story.  Peter had been fishing all night with 6 friends.  I have done this.  He caught nothing!  I have done this also.  No fun.  Worse than no fun.

JESUS was on the shore and called to the fisherman to throw down their nets where they were (Close to the shore, somewhat like being back at the launching dock).  None the less they threw down the net, in this very unlikely spot.

And as you know, JESUS blessed them.  They caught a net full of large fish!  This was enough for John to realize and say, "It is the LORD!"  That was enough for Peter to leave the boat, and the catch, and everything to get to JESUS!

Faced with a great financial blessing, Peter chose to be with the LORD!  He could have stayed on the boat to secure the catch.  But he left it to be with HIM.

You see, when finances come from JESUS, through unlikely, even miraculous means, the aroma of JESUS is so powerful on that blessing that we are drawn to HIM!  When we depend on HIM rather than on our skill, reasoning and power to get wealth and supply, we will never loose track of HIMHE is the blessing.

It is interesting to note that JESUS had to gently remind Peter to not miss the blessing of the fish.  When JESUS blesses, HE means for us to use that blessing for our Supply and the Supply of HIS kingdom.  So go get blessed!
