Your Confession Greatly Effects HIS Supply To You!

(Editor's note: The Hebrew notion of Salvation (Deliverance) included much more than forgiveness and eternal life. Salvation meant freedom from debt, worry, fear and sickness.  Power over enemies, total victory and possession of a land was integral  to the concept.  Today many believers have been put off by hyper-prosperity teaching.  This teaching may have been responsible for many believers retreating entirely from the True Gospel, which portrays CREATOR as SUPPLIER

Hebrews 3:1-2 "Therefore, holy brothers, who share in the heavenly calling, fix your thoughts on JESUS, the apostle and high priest whom we confess."

Hebrews 13:14-16 "Through JESUS, therefore, let us continually offer to GOD a sacrifice of praise--the fruit of lips that confess HIS Name."

ConfessConfession.  Awesome words that have been watered down by 2,000+ years of . . . watering!  Maybe we can dry them and light them up again!

To confess actually means, "to speak with."  Or to "say the same as someone." Literally it means "with-speech."  Now let me ask you this . . .  When it comes to finances and money, what or who is your speech with?

Do any of the following statements hit home?

I never have enough money.

I just can't pay my bills.

I can't give into the Kingdom.

I am broke again.

Money goes faster than it comes

Okay.  Now I am sure that a couple of these have found their place on your tongue from time to time.  Question . . .   Which came first, the statement or the situation.   Can you remember.  The statements above I like to call "confession of lack."  Do you "say the same" with lack, or poverty?

Can our words help us?  Read this . . .

Romans 10:10  "For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved."

Hmmn! So it is the mouth that gets us saved!  Of course our statement of confession to salvation must be built on the Word of CREATOR, but it is our confessions that appropriate that Word.

So if we must confess with our mouth to change us from a dead body to a living eternal creation, what about our finances?  Is it possible that we always have what we say?

Mark 11:23  "I tell you the truth, if anyone says to this mountain, Go, throw yourself into the sea, and does not doubt in his heart but believes that what he says will happen, it will be done for him."

So, if we say and believe what we say, we will have what we say.  That is so simple.  Why is it so hard?  It's not!  That is the funny and sad part.  Which is harder to say . . .

"I lack," or

"I have more than I need?"

Answer:  Neither!  It is as easy to say one as the other.  So why do we say we lack? Because we live in a world system that tries it's best to make all CREATOR'S family broke.

One last Scripture:

Psalm 23:1     The LORD is my shepherd; I have everything I need.

Okay now.  It is your choice.  Who will you "speak with" or confess?  It really is just a choice.  And one of the most important ones you will ever make!
