The devil Is Trying To Take Your Supply, Don't Let him Do It!
(Editor's note: The Hebrew notion of Salvation (Deliverance) included much more than forgiveness and eternal life. Salvation meant freedom from debt, worry, fear and sickness. Power over enemies, total victory and possession of a land was integral to the concept. Today many believers have been put off by hyper-prosperity teaching. This teaching may have been responsible for many believers retreating entirely from the True Gospel, which portrays CREATOR as SUPPLIER!

Are you Forcefully Advancing? Yes? No? Well the Kingdom of GOD is! So if we are in it, so must we be . . . The King James say that the Kingdom is "suffering violence." Now in the old KJV Elizabethan English, "suffer" does not mean "experience pain." It means "allow." So where the NIV versions says - that the Kingdom is Forcefully Advancing, the KJV says it (we) are Allowing Violence. Now, don't take me wrong. I am not advocating the violence that we see nightly on our news programs. Wrong kind of violence! What this passage refers to - the blending of the two translations - is that if you think your role in the Kingdom is a passive, "whatever will be, will be" attitude, you had better think again. JESUS was talking in the passage above about John the Baptist. And HE was giving his followers (John's) some quick training to help preserve their lives. Another way of saying this might have been . . . "OK. Listen and listen good! Forget what you have been taught. This is no game! There is a real devil out there who is waging war on you. He wants to steal, through trickery, everything you own. Your money, possessions, friends, family, ministry, health, sanity and ultimately, your life. DON'T LET him DO IT! So, my friends, if you have been putting the principles of CREATOR'S Word into practice and you are noticing that there seems to be some kind of under the surface battle, well, you are right! The devil is trying to take your Supply! DON'T LET him DO IT! It is time to go after what is rightfully yours with forceful advancement! The victory will be yours only if you continue in HIS Word and fight, fight, fight! |
